Dr Petrol is a specialist in orthodontics. She has additional training of two continuous years beyond dental school. Her practice is limited to provide orthodontic services exclusively.

As a patient, you will get Dr. Petrol’s personal attention at every appointment because she is the only orthodontist in the office. Seeing one doctor exclusively allows for an ongoing personalized continuity of care. We uphold the highest standards of sterilization.

Dr Petrol uses technology to make your treatment convenient- A computerized appointment reminder is sent two days prior via your email. Through our website, you can make payments, check your balance, look up your next appointment… even refer your friends and family!  Dolphin imaging and technology is used in treatment planning each case. All patient records are available to referring sources via the internet. Digital photography and imaging provide a cutting edge approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. We are proud to offer the latest in newer, smaller more comfortable appliances that can even reduce treatment time.

 Dr. Petrol creates treatment plans for her patients that are simple, easy to follow and requires a minimal effort. She emphasizes a non-extraction treatment approach whenever possible. This approach creates the beautiful broad smile her patients have come to appreciate.


Pre- Orthodontic Guidance Program:  Prevention is the key

Dr. Petrol believes in preventative or interceptive orthodontic treatment. At 7 years of age, Dr. Petrol can tell you if your child is expressing any unusual growth patterns. Recognizing these problems at this age can make treatment easier, simpler, preventing the need for extractions, surgeries and alleviating harmful habits in the future. Dr Petrol monitors all children in her practice who are 7 years of age or older. Second Opinions- Clarifying communication


We often provide second opinions for patients who are unclear about their treatment options.  We welcome the opportunity to communicate in a manner that makes sense!!! Examinations and consultations are complimentary.


In-house laboratory


All of your treatment is done on-site. There is no need to travel to other offices for any reason including orthodontic records (photographs, diagnostic x-rays, and models).


All of your treatment appliances are made by Dr. Petrol’s longtime laboratory technician. With over 15 years experience, your appliances are made in a timely manner, fit  comfortably and work to get you closer to that perfect smile.
Additional training

Dr Petrol stays on the cutting edge of her profession by attending 50-100 hours of continuing educational seminars each year.

Her Master’s Thesis research on Cleft Palate allows her to treat these complex and multi-disciplinary cases routinely.

Dr. Petrol shares a special interest in Sleep Disorders.  It has been her privilege to help family members who suffer from sleep disorders such as Sleep apnea, get a restful night’s sleep.

Petrol Orthodontics is a Certified Invisalign® Provider since 1999.  Dr. Petrol has completed all necessary training in Invisalign therapy making her one of the first Certified Invisalign Providers in the area.
